It’s clear Sony isn’t attending the E3 2019 showroom. With XBOX announcing their new hardware in development project scarlet and Nintendo releasing an all-star line up of games, Sony decided to go a different route this year taking huge advantage of the marketing space for their platform.
If you haven’t noticed Sony has been promoting its annual Days of Play sale which started Friday, June 7th with discounts on software and hardware and has been leaking details of the PlayStation 5 since April 2019.
Third-party developers have also been doing some of Sony’s leg-work for e3. One of those developers was Hideo Kojima. With a brand new gameplay trailer and release date for his new game Death Stranding, very few games at e3 2019 will come close to the hype of his new project.
